WHEN YOU'RE NOT ON CLOUD NINE

There are many myths surrounding being a new mother and finding these out for yourself can be difficult. Jenny was brilliant in showing me how sometimes, motherhood is not the happy-go-lucky experience most mothers talk about. She made me feel completely normal for how I felt, how I viewed the situation and how I was handling all the pressures and emotions. She taught me very early on, it's ok to not feel like you're on cloud 9! This gentle reassurance alone, lifted a great amount of pressure from me and strengthened my relationship with my little girl.
